Educator Support

We can assist you with developing a training or education package by:

  • undertaking a literature search for relevant articles and other information
  • assist with keeping your recommended reading lists up to date
  • providing permanent links direct to articles where available
  • training and support for finding and using images and videos that you can use without breaching copyright
  • basic copyright guidance

Journal Club Support

We currently support a number of NT Health Journal Clubs and can:

  • run a critical appraisal introduction
  • help with initial set up
  • help with topic ideas for each meeting
  • find appropriate research articles for discussion
  • attend the meetings to support interpreting research results
  • create a webpage that links to presentations and articles

Subject Guides & Help Guides

Link to our useful online guides or embed in your MyLearning course:

  • our Subject Guides provide access to books, journals, reports, websites etc. on a large range of clinical and non-clinical topics
  • our Help Guides cover a range of topics from Evidence-Based Practice to Finding Health Statistics and Referencing
  • support your students by linking to useful guides in your education package
  • work with us to create or customise a guide to suit your needs

Training Rooms & Videoconferencing Facilities

We have a number of rooms available for training, meetings & presentations:

  • a range of rooms are available in Darwin, Alice Springs and Katherine libraries
  • book online and manage your bookings via your Outlook calendar
  • videoconferencing available in some rooms
  • more about training rooms
