Connecting to Mobile Resources: ClinicalKey

About ClinicalKey

ClinicalKey offers over 2,000 disease topic pages with easy access to information about epidemiology, risk factors, clinical manifestations, treatments and more, as well as links to specialty-specific answers and related drugs.

Access the ClinicalKey app

Instructions - Apple and Android

  1. Go to the library website at:  http://library.health.nt.gov.au/libraryservices/home
  2. Go to the Databases A-Z page under eLibrary.
  3. Click on ClinicalKey.
  4. Click Register on the top right hand corner.
  5. Enter required details. Your institutional email will be your user name.
  6. Click Register at the bottom of the form.

Step 2: to access content including ebooks you must:

  1. From the ClinicalKey website click Login on the top right hand corner.
  2. Enter the username and password you just created
  3. From the drop down menu in the top right corner click remote access
  4. Enter your email address, click continue (if nothing happens or an error message displays redo Step 2 from this website https://www.clinicalkey.com.au/#!/)
  5. Check your email and click the activation link to activate Remote Access.
  6. You will be redirected to ClinicalKey and told if Remote Access has been activated.

Download the app from your App Store:

  1. Go to the App Store (Apple) or Google Play (Android) and search for ClinicalKey.
  2. Download the free ClinicalKey app.
  3. Open the app
  4. Choose the Australian edition of ClinicalKey
  5. Select either ClinicalKey or ClinicalKey for Nursing.
  6. Enter your Institutional username (Government email) that you used to create your registration at step 5 and password.
  7. App is now ready to use.

 This mobile platform requires an internet connection.
