Mobile Apps

These mobile resources are provided free to eLibrary4HP members, thanks to subscriptions and licensing arrangements paid for by the NT Department of Health Library Services. The instructions for downloading and accessing these resources can be found below.

Therapeutic Guidelines

                    

  1. Download the new Therapeutic Guidelines app from the Apple or Google Play Store and open  the app.
  2. On your mobile device open an Incognito browser  or Private Window (This step is important) 
  3. Go to https://nthealthlibrary.idm.oclc.org/login?url=https://app.tg.org.au/ and login with your NTG username and password.
  4. Click the Account icon on the top left of your screen where you should see  'Access My Account'.
  5. Click on the 'Access My Account' link.

           

6. Click on green link 'Copy Access Key*. See Troubleshooting below if you do not see the Access Key. 

7. Go back to the Therapeutic Guidelines app and click on Login with Access key.

8. Paste the access key and click 'submit'

*Save your access key in a secure location, such as a notes app. This key remains valid for up to 6 months and can be reused if you change devices or reinstall the application**

                    eMIMS Elite

The eMIMSelite (for Android and Apple) apps are the mobile version of eMIMSelite. They contain Abbreviated Product Information, Full Product Information, Drug Interactions and the Pill Identifiers module.

 
This app replaces the old MIMS (iMIMS and MIMS android). You must request a new token in the new desktop site in order to connect to the new apps.
MIMS is a resource that provides pharmaceutical product information. It contains both abbreviated and full prescribing information, consumer medicine information and product images for pharmaceuticals available in Australia.

 

Instructions

Begin on a computer web browser
    1. Enter your LAN login details if prompted.
  1. Once on the eMIMSelite website, click on the “three-line icon” on the top right of the main menu. 
  2. Click on 'Request Mobile Token'.
  3. Enter your NT Health email address and other details if prompted. Then click 'Complete Registration'. You will be sent a confirmation email with your unique token code.
Go to the App Store (Apple) or Google Play (Android) and search for 'eMIMSelite'.
 
On your mobile device
  1. Download the free app. We suggest you connect to the WiFi network at your nearest health library to download it. 
  2. Open the app and select 'Login with Token'
  3. Enter your unique token.
  4. The app is now ready to use.

 


ClinicalKey

 

ClinicalKey or ClinicalKey for Nursing can be accessed outside of eLibrary4HP either by a remote access login or by setting up a mobile app.

(If you choose to install the ClinicalKey app you will be limited in choosing access to either Clinicalkey OR ClinicalKey for Nursing)

To activate Remote Access and enable access to the ClinicalKey or ClinicalKey for Nursing Mobile App:

  1. Contact the Health Library on 89228961 to obtain your unique Registration ID and Password
  2. Visit ClinicalKey at www.clinicalkey.com/register
  3. Enter your unique Registration ID and Password provided by the library. 

Please note: When copying and pasting, ensure you do not copy any additional spaces at the beginning or end of the ID or password, as a space will register as an invalid character.

4. Click 'continue'

5. To complete the process, register for a personal account by clicking 'Register Now'.

After completing these steps, you can access the site from any location and from any device with your username and password.

 

If you would like to install the ClinicalKey App follow these instructions:

Go to the App Store (Apple) or Google Play (Android) and search for ClinicalKey.

Download the free ClinicalKey app.

Open the app

  • Select Organisational Subscription
  • Select Access via your Organization
  • Enter your username and password.
  • Select Clinical Key
  • Select ClinicalKey Australia

App is now ready to use.

 This mobile platform requires an internet connection.

 NOTE: 180 Day Remote Access Re-Activation Required

To maintain App currency and Remote Access be sure to log in to ClinicalKey at least every 180 days.

You will not receive a reminder notice.

 

Dynamic Health

                     

This mobile platform gives you access to an easy to use, mobile friendly interface   for searching Dynamic Health.
 

Instructions 

The Dynamic Health App can be downloaded for Apple running iOS 13.0 or higher and Android 5.0 or higher.

It requires at least 185 MB of memory when installed with images
 -OR-
Requires at least 115MB of memory when partially installed (without images)

Once installed, this app does not require an internet connection, however images not installed at initial setup will only display when the device is connected to internet. A wireless signal is required to perform updates to the Dynamic Health content when updates become available. Note: Video content requires a network connection to view.

 Instructions

  1. If you are a new user of EBSCOhost you will require a person login to access Dynamic Health through the App. Go to Dynamic Health to create a login at the top right of the page.
  2.  If you have previously created an EBSCOhost account you will need your username and password.
  3. Download the Dynamic Health app from the iTunes or Google Play Store 
  4. Open the app.
  5. Click the 'Sign In' button to enter your username and password
  6. At the bottom of the page choose the additional option 'EBSCO Login and Institutional Locator' and enter your EBSCO username. Click 'continue'.
  7. Enter your password.
  8. Choose an installation option and click 'Continue'
  9. When setup is complete click 'Next'
  10. The app should now be ready to use.
