First, check our Library Membership page to see if you’re eligible for membership of the Health Library, and then submit the relevant online registration form that can be found on the same page.
Of course! The Health Library offers a full range of services to NT Health staff who work in remote areas, including borrowing, training, access to electronic resources and research assistance. To find out more, contact your nearest Health Library.
That depends. Eligible health professionals and NT Medical Program students can join the library, providing they meet a number of conditions. Find out if you’re eligible for membership by going to the Library Membership page or contact us.
NT Health staff can access our resources by logging in with your LAN login. eLibrary4HP members will be issued with a unique username and password when you register as a member of the Health Library. If you did not receive your password or you've lost it, please contact us. Note: in most cases your login for electronic resources will differ from your library print book borrowing details.

Of course! The 5 health libraries in the NT are all part of the same network, so if you’re a library member you can access services and resources from any of them. To request a book from any of our libraries you can either contact us or you can request the book online using your library account. Find the book on the library catalogue and click on ‘Place Hold’. Enter your library card number and your password and click ‘Log In’. Choose a pick up location and click ‘Place Hold’. The library will then contact you when a copy of this book is available for you to borrow.
All NT Health staff who are members of the library can use our Resource Delivery service (also known as Interlibrary Loans) to obtain journal articles or books that the library doesn’t have. This service is for obtaining resources for work related purposes only.
You can access your library account via the library catalogue. The log in function is located at the top right hand side of the page and you sign in using your library card number, your unique password, and click Log In. From here you can see what items you have checked out, what requests / holds you have waiting, change your password or even see your reading history. For any problems logging in to your library account, contact us.

Access to library resources varies depending on your employer.
NT Health employees enjoy access to all of our resources.
Health professionals working in the NT but not employed by NT Health may be eligible to join the library to borrow print books only, or access digital content through our eLibrary4HP. We have a number of agreements with local Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisations (ACCHOs) and non-government organisations (NGOs), so check out your membership options here.
