How to find a publication or multimedia item

If you know the title of the publication or item you're looking for, type it into the central search bar on the NTHRPO homepage, or use the global search option in the top right hand corner of the site:

If you don't know the title or author, you can browse all publications by selecting All Publications from the top menu bar or using the icon on the home screen.

You can browse publications by:

  • Work Unit/Department - alphabetical list of NT Health Work Units with authors producing publications
  • Author - alphabetical list of all authors of items in the repository
  • Title - alphabetical list of all titles of items in the repository
  • Type - alphabetical list of all publication types of items in the repository
  • Date Issued - publications in chronological order, or filter to a specific year
  • Subject - alphabetical list of subjects assigned to items in the repository

TIPS FOR SEARCHING

Not getting the search results you expected? Try these tips for searching the repository.

  • Search for a phrase by adding double quotes e.g. "cancer in the northern territory"
  • Remove any punctuation from your search i.e. remove commas, dashes, brackets, full-stops etc.
  • Use AND to include different search terms e.g. melioidosis AND "Bart Currie"
  • Use NOT to exclude search terms from your results e.g. melioidosis NOT "Bart Currie"
