About the General Repository
The General Repository contains items produced by NT Health, including annual reports, multimedia, corporate plans, and newsletters. Items added to this collection were produced for a public audience, or are digitised historical items with research value. Submitting to the General Repository helps meet NT Health's Legal Deposit obligations.

Criteria for inclusion:
Publications and multimedia published by NT Health are added to the General Repository and include, but are not limited to:
- Reports (e.g. Annual reports, research reports, etc.);
- Books;
- Booklets;
- Newsletters;
- Departmental Public Policy documents;
- Strategic Plans and Frameworks;
- Health publications in language (NT);
- Public health guidelines intended for a public audience;
- Multimedia (e.g. health promotion videos);
- Calendars (e.g. Salt Marsh Mosquito Pest Calendar).
Criteria for exclusion:
Content excluded from the repository are ephemera, temporary publications, publications that require regular updating, and publications intended for an internal audience. This includes:
- Forms1;
- Brochures;
- Handouts;
- Flyers;
- Internal guidelines and policies;
- Draft papers or draft versions of papers released for discussion.
The following categories of content are also excluded from the repository:
- Material that should not be made publicly accessible for reasons of confidentiality or cultural sensitivity;
- Publications which are in breach of Copyright or licensing agreements;
- Material intended for teaching and learning (e.g. course notes, reading material);
- Administrative documents and records, including those associated with research projects (e.g. ethics approval, funding applications etc.);
- Research publications where the author is an NT Health staff member but has not included NT Health in their author affiliation in that particular publication.
1.Despite not meeting current criteria for inclusion, a number of forms intended for an external audience remain hosted on the repository. Library Services will continue working with content owners to move these to a more suitable platform where appropriate.
