Connecting to Mobile Resources: ClinicalKey or ClinicalKey for Nursing

ClinicalKey or ClinicalKey for Nursing can be accessed outside the NTG network either by a remote access login or by setting up a mobile app.

(If you choose to install the ClinicalKey app you will be limited in choosing access to either Clinicalkey OR ClinicalKey for Nursing)

To activate Remote Access for ClinicalKey or ClinicalKey for Nursing

STEP 1

Go to ClinicalKey at: https://www.clinicalkey.com.au/#!/remote-access 

1. If you are already registered click ‘login’ at the top right of the page and enter your username and password.
2. If you need to register follow these steps:

• Click Register on the top right hand corner.
• Enter required details. Please use your NTG email address for this registration. Your email address will become your user name.
• Click Register at the bottom of the form.
• ClinicalKey will automatically recognise the nt.gov.au email domain in the registration process and associate it with the NT Health Library subscription
• Check your email for your registration confirmation and click the activation link to activate your registration.
• Login to ClinicalKey with your username and password.

Select ‘Northern Territory Department of Health -= IP_ NT Department of Health Library Services’ and click 'Continue'

Check your email and click the activation link to activate Remote Access. (This may take up to 15 minutes to arrive in your inbox)

If you would like to install the ClinicalKey App follow these instructions:

Go to the App Store (Apple) or Google Play (Android) and search for ClinicalKey.

Download the free ClinicalKey app.

Open the app

• Select Organisational Subscription
• Select Access via your Organization
• Enter your username (NTG email) and password.
• Select Clinical Key
• Select ClinicalKey Australia

App is now ready to use.

 This mobile platform requires an internet connection.

 NOTE: 180 Day Remote Access Re-Activation Required

To maintain App currency and Remote Access be sure to log in to ClinicalKey at least every 180 days.
