Background
Dr John Charles Hargrave (1931-2020) dedicated himself to combating the scourge of leprosy in the Top End. He was a true pioneer in the development of Health Services and Microsurgery in the Northern Territory. He attended the Medical School at the University of Adelaide in Western Australia.
