Library Services wins the 2024 HLA/Telstra Health Digital Innovation Award!

The HLA/Telstra Health Digital Health Innovation Award is funded by Telstra Health and maintained by the ALIA Health Libraries Australia group, and focuses on innovation projects in health care information delivery with practical outcomes.

The library's winning submission project 'Local knowledge informing better health: building a digital collection of Aboriginal health resources for the NT' will be a valuable resource for clinicians, health information consumers, researchers, and policy makers worldwide, and it will be accessible via our digital repository NT Health Research and Publications Online.

Trudi Maly and Saara Kahkonen attended the 2024 HLA Conference in Caboolture, Queensland last month to accept the award on behalf of the NT Health Libraries team. Attendance at the event allowed library staff to engage with stakeholders in the health libraries space and gain invaluable insights from experts in the field.
