End-of-year library opening hours
The Darwin, Alice Springs and Katherine Health Libraries will not be staffed during the Christmas closedown period Monday 25th December 2023, to Monday 1st January, 2023.
During this time the libraries will only be accessible to library members who have organised out-of-hours swipe access. 
Our electronic resources remain accessible anytime, from any device. Off-site access requires a LAN login. For any LAN issues please contact the NTG Helpdesk on 1800 000 254.

Library Services' Strategic Planning Day
Library staff came together at Darwin Health Library at the beginning of November to align the library’s strategic objectives with the NT Health Strategic Plan and to identify how we can continue to support NT Health staff.  

 


 

2024 library training room bookings now open

Prepare for 2024 and book library training rooms in advance. Choose from four bookable rooms in Darwin Library and one in Alice Springs Library. All of our bookable rooms are equipped with video conferencing technology. 

 

 


 

NT Health research recognised

Congratulations to our friends at the Health Statistics and Informatics branch for being awarded the 2022 Medical Journal of Australia Award for Excellence in Medical Research with their publication: Improved life expectancy for Indigenous and non-Indigenous people in the Northern Territory, 1999-2018: overall and by underlying cause of death.
